With the Wild Atlantic Way providing the inspirational for this artwork. The painting features areas with drama and 'tension', which have been carefully balanced with softer passages. The depth of colour has been achieved through patiently applied pigment washes, build up over and over which contribute to the complex yet ultimately harmonious colour values. The painting has areas where the water washes have been left to dry naturally, creating a lovely fluid feeling. 

Materials used include acrylic Inks, natural pigments, claypaint, acrylic paints. Painted on high quality 415gsm Claessens linen.
