Location: Canvas, Lisburn Road Belfast

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday + one rotating Saturday a month

Overtime available in busy periods in mornings, evenings and weekends.

Salary: National Living Wage

Reporting to: Head Framer, Gallery Management

Job Description:

Canvas Galleries is looking for a professional picture framer to join our busy framing team in supporting our retail, commercial and gallery framing customers.

Duties may include:

Working under framing management your daily roles will include:

Measuring, cutting and assembly of picture frames to our high standards.
Hand finishing frames in paint and wood stains.
Assembling artwork and frames together.
Quality management sign off.
Organising, tidying and cleaning of workshop.
Supporting other aspects of the business including marketing, gallery and commercial needs.

Ideal candidate:

Demonstrate existing knowledge or experience in picture framing, joinery or similar fields.
Work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work under their own initiatives, following instructions and processes provided.
Work on multiple jobs at a time.
Show a natural attention to detail.
