Field of All Possibilities
Mixed media on deep cotton canvas by Emma Tweedie
120x90cm unframed canvas
Inspired by Irish folklore and a nod to ideas surrounding
the state of pure consciousness,
‘Field of All Possibilities’ represents the space between the seen and the unseen, often felt when we are immersed in nature. When out walking, are we observing those fleeting and barely
perceptible clues left in nature by mythical beings? From strange scents to marks left in peat fields, can we immerse ourselves in nature to the point where we can feel its power, and believe, just for a second, that there could be another realm beyond?
Created using multiple layers of fluid pigment washes built up carefully over many studio sessions. Mixed media
Ingredients include: Fibre paste, gesso, textured medium, water-based spray paint, handmade stencils, acrylic, impasto, cold wax, Sennelier oil bar.
