This highly textured painting in a light colour palette was created following the artist's most recent visit to Ireland during SS21 in areas around the Ards Peninsula. Multiple pigment washes have been carefully built up layer by layer over carefully curated textured substrates. Materials include acrylic inks, natural pigments, impasto, oil bars and other water based mediums. Painted on 450gsm Classens linen.
