Float mounting is one of our most popular framing techniques for prints and works on paper, creating a clean, contemporary presentation. Instead of being covered by a traditional window mount, the artwork sits on top of the mount board so the full sheet remains visible.

This method is ideal for artworks with deckled or uneven edges, allowing the natural texture and handmade character of the paper to become part of the display.

Best suited to flat artworks on paper or board, the piece is carefully raised using conservation-grade backing to create depth and a subtle box frame effect. Our float mount framing is produced to gallery standards in our Belfast workshop, ensuring your artwork is both professionally presented and properly protected.
