This painting took years to complete, the place, a beautiful little stand of sweet smelling pine trees in France called The Crucifix, Thomas an uncle I never knew, but now in my mind and memory connected with that landscape.

When you return home along roads, streets and lanes, from across the sea, do you see the people you once knew, hear their voices their laughter, and remember their faces and your time with them?.
I know I do.
