This painting is a soft abstracted mixed media painting which ’nods’ to all things coastal. Featuring the artists signature look of textured passages and painterly application of fine layers of fluid pigment and washes. Mediums used include acrylic, acrylic ink, pastels, natural pigments, texture, pineapple fibre on a substrate of heavy Belgian linen. Key colours include Prussian Blue, Payne’s Grey, Wedgewood Blue, Pthalo Turquoise,Cobalt Blue, lilac, pink, coral, pistachio and mint.
