This painting features an array of tone-on-tone colours which work to contrast with small jewels of stronger saturated colours, all built up on top of a hand textured substrate. Key colours include coral pink, powder blue, cobalt blue, Mars orange, teal green and turquoise.  Layers of pigment and acrylic washes have been hand-poured time and time again to achieve an extremely subtle effect that 'mesmerises' the eye, drawing the viewer into the interior of the painting.
