I am a portrait artist from Armagh city. Obsessed with drawing and painting faces and figures from a young age. I always liked to tell a story in my work, like a still from a movie, a narrative in one frame / look.

My work has developed over time to having its own unique style, whilst also paying homage to the many influences that have shaped it over the years - from comic book illustration, abstract and expressionism painting.

Combining these elements and influences I tend to reconstruct the portrait using my own interpretation, allowing the colours to have a life of their own within the structure of the face and contours of the work. 

I enjoy using abstract brush strokes over accurate drawing or line work, and merging styles, influences and experience in different mediums have led me to a style of painting that I feel is unique and fresh.

It is my unique take on portraiture. Exciting contemporary pieces with arresting colours and thought provoking narrative.
