Canvas Belfast is proud to present a new group exhibition launching on May 10th, featuring new work by Alison Gault, Andrew Gault, Laura Bryson, and Jenny Hamilton. Alison Gault, a graphic designer and painter, explores the emotional pull of landscape through rich colours and layered textures that evoke the ever-shifting energy of earth and sky. Andrew Gault, an architect and landscape painter, captures the interplay of land, water, and weather in Irish and Scottish settings, using layered mark-making to reflect memory, heritage, and the passage of time. Laura Bryson’s dramatic seascapes draw from the Northern Irish coastline, offering vast, moody horizons that connect viewers to their own memories and the raw emotion of the sea. Jenny Hamilton, a Belfast-based artist, blends abstract and traditional techniques in joyful, nature-inspired paintings that reflect the subtle beauty of urban green spaces and floral memories—inviting us to reconnect with the healing power of the natural world.
