Float framing is a popular bespoke framing option for original artworks on canvas, offering a modern and elegant way to showcase the piece. In this style, the canvas is mounted to board, creating additional space between the artwork and the frame, giving it a “floating” effect.

Unlike tray frames, float frames allow us to increase the frame size as desired, providing flexibility to suit the artwork, interior, or exhibition space. This style draws attention to the edges of the piece while maintaining a clean and contemporary presentation.

We offer multiple colour options for float frames, including our signature hand-painted slips applied to the inner edge of the outer frame. Each float frame is custom made in our Belfast studio, ensuring the frame complements both the artwork and its surroundings.
