Collection: David Page
David started his career in the arts by founding Page \ Park Architects. Page has always viewed architecture as the art of making the built environment, and, for him, drawing and painting were always essential to that process.
The challenge now, as a full time artist, is to combine both image and experience on a flat surface.
He enjoys two bases from which he work: The Origami Studio in the heart of the conservation area of Tobermory, Isle of Mull, Scotland exercising the ‘right to roam’ in Mull’s majestic mountains and scrambling her battered coastline. His second base is the Origami House which is set in the gentle rural landscape beside the glorious Glens of Antrim, Northern Ireland. Both these landscapes, cast in changing light and atmosphere, invigorate and challenge his work as an artist.
