Several years ago my husband and I did the West Highland way and were lucky enough to take in the splendour of Glencoe. I actually have too many words for this place, it’s so remarkable and dramatic and beautiful and silent and magical. This is how we saw it in April that year, some snow still hanging about but bursts of spring colour coming through all the way down the valley.
The Ben Crom reservoir sits nestled amongst the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. This is the view from Slieve Binnian looking towards Slieve Muck.
