Craobh Haven pronounced Croove, meaning tree, is on the West coast of Scotland. The Craignish peninsular is a magical place, close to that great sea whirlpool (have a look at earlier paintings) it has places with names which give us clues to the past such as “Bay of the Field of Heads”. Once part of the Kingdom of Dalriada it’s history is full of Irish, Scot and Scandinavian.
