These slates have become dislodged over many years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur sheds date back to the 1800’s and are attached to an old stone farmhouse in a ‘courtyard’ shaped layout.  Architecturally it’s a wonderful example of an original Irish vernacular farmhouse and out buildings.  As far as I know, there aren’t many of these historic working buildings left in Ireland.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlthough aesthetically pleasing, and displaying many of the original features of the time, the buildings are slowly falling into disrepair.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The slates that have fallen off the roof are broken and worn but this is what has drawn me towards them.  I see each one as a piece of art in its own right.  Each one is unique and has it’s own weather beaten story, irregularities and imperfect perimeter.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Una O'Grady","offers":[{"title":"60cm W x 30cm H","offer_id":57020310880642,"sku":null,"price":1450.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0024\/0366\/3908\/files\/1_1c05d7b9-60c9-4b46-b1e7-e4392b38d341.png?v=1793958227","url":"https:\/\/canvasgalleries.com\/products\/bog-meadows-and-broadway-towers-on-slate","provider":"Canvas","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
