I love this house in Co. Armagh, although I never knew who lived there, it has always been called Anderson’s. It sits at the head of a little glen called The Planting, half way up the Black Hill, this is it’s back which is not as formal as the front, the house is on the 1835 survey so predates the famine I wonder who first built it, I wonder did they think of us?.
“Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,
And spills the upper boulders in the sun;
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.”.
- Robert Frost
