He paints the local Irish and Scottish landscapes capturing the interplay between water, land and weather and conveying the vast forms and structures of these places around our coasts and along our rivers. Andrew’s work was exhibited in the Royal Society of Ulster Architects, Architects as Artists exhibition 2016 where his landscape ‘Headland 3’ (oil on canvas 17” x 17”) received the President’s Choice Award. His paintings are in private collections in N. Ireland, England, Scotland and Australia.

All landscapes are spaces but also places, that is what I like to paint - place, they allow us to travel through time, when I look at this landscape I hear the footsteps of my grandfathers.
