Night I

Description

Original acrylic on canvas

60x80cm unframed

“Blood's dirt,' he laughed, looking away,
Far off to where his wound had bled
And almost merged for ever into clay. 'The world is washing out its stains,' he said.” .
- Wilfred Owen.
.
All landscapes are spaces but also places, that is what I like to paint - place, they allow us to travel through time, when I look at this landscape I hear the footsteps of my grandfathers.
