Accessibility Statement

At Canvas, we are committed to ensuring a welcoming and inclusive experience for all our customers. Our accessibility features are designed to provide a seamless experience for wheelchair users and visitors with mobility challenges. Here are some key notes regarding accessibility:

  1. ACCESSIBLE ENTRY:

Our gallery is easily accessible from the footpath, providing a barrier-free entry for wheelchair users and disabled visitors.

  1. MULTI-FLOOR GALLERY:

Canvas is a multi-floor gallery, and we understand that stairs may pose challenges for some visitors. Rest assured; we are dedicated to accommodating every individual. If visitors cannot access the upper floor, our staff will be more than happy to bring down any artwork from the 1st floor to the ground floor level for your convenience.

  1. CONSULTATION AREA:

For visitors who require seating, we have a designated consultation area on the ground floor. Visitors are invited to take their time and enjoy the artwork at their own pace.

  1. WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY:

Our website is designed with accessibility in mind. Whether you are using a desktop computer, tablet, or mobile device, our website is compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies. We have installed specialist virtual reality software on our website so that customers can visualise exactly how a piece of art will look in any room. All website functions, including browsing and purchasing, can be comfortably carried out while sitting.

  1. ASSISTANCE:

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are here to assist visitors to the gallery. If you have any specific needs or requests, feel free to approach any member of our gallery team.

Canvas is committed to continuously improving our accessibility features to ensure that everyone can experience the essence of Canvas.

If you have any additional accessibility requirements or suggestions for improvement, please contact us. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to create an inclusive environment for all customers.
